Selection and Evaluation
  • One of the key services our staff performs is identifying and recruiting the most qualified candidates who possess the specific experience clients require thereby reducing the number of candidates interviewed for successful placement. To achieve this, we secure from the client the most comprehensive position description possible and the specific skills and qualifications required. We then conduct in-depth screening interviews to assess the candidate's skills, credentials, strengths, motivations and goals. Throughout this process, our search consultants are using resources gained from years of experience and specialization. In addition to our experience and knowledge in placing legal professionals, we have a vast network of candidate clients. We work closely with corporate and law firm hiring managers recruiting for them the very best of the candidates available.
  • Our in depth selection process present our clients with candidates that are well qualified. Because of this process we are able to provide applicants corresponding not only the technical proficiency and legal expertise required, but also candidates who are a good fit culturally and collegial.
  • It is through use of our extensive proprietary candidate database which assists us in maintaining regular contact we are able to source superior passive candidates. These individuals are not monitoring employment advertisements or networking with colleagues to learn of opportunities. Our experience has been that these candidates are typically those we place. Through the use of our systematic methods we can quickly initiate a targeted recruitment effort. This will reduce the time spent identifying candidates. Our goal is to identify the best candidates for our clients.

INTERMEDIARY ROLE

Our search consultants perform another important function by serving as an intermediary when necessary. If during the course of the hiring process issues arise with respect to any element of an offer of employment we can often negotiate an acceptable result.

Fees

Our firm provides placement services on a contingency or retained search basis. On a contingency basis, no payment is due until the candidate hired commences employment. Fees for partner, retained and exclusive placements are negotiable.
